Spring Shoe Wishlist

You know the saying 'Give a girl the right shoes and she can conquer the world'? We can never have too many shoes. Sometimes we need the same pair in different colours and different textures. I think we can all agree that shoes can make or break an outfit. We can never have too many, even though we run out of space to put them all!. With Spring well and truly under way, I have been looking for some new shoes so I thought I'd share my favourite ones with you all. From heels to sandals to pumps, I have picked out the hottest ones for bargain prices.

1. Miss Guided Nude Lace up heels - £25

I fell in love with these lace up heels. Definitely need to get myself a pair for nights out. These are also available in black and white croc print.

 2. River Island  burgundy lace up shoe boots- £65

These would look so well paired up with jeans and a blouse for a cute daytime look or for those casual nights out in town.

3. Pretty Little Thing brown lace up sandals - £30

These are a must have for summer season. Pair them up with a cute white summer dress or a pair of denim shorts. These are also available in black and nude.

4. River Island brown tassel loafers  - £28

Sometimes its so difficult to find a pair of flat shoes which don't look too boring and plain. These loafers are gorgeous paired up with a pair of skinny jeans.

5. New Look light pink plimsolls - £14.99

Love these plimsolls. The colour is so perfect for spring/summer and they would be so easy to just slip on for a casual daytime look.

Hope you all enjoyed. Happy shoe shopping!

Glasgow Cocktails

There are go many bars to choose from in Glasgow and since the weekend is nearly here, I thought I'd tell you my favourite places to go for drinks.

Ashton Lane

Ashton Lane is a cobbled backstreet filled with bars in the West End of Glasgow. It has a great atmosphere with the pretty fairy lights twinkling overhead and the cobbles running down the lane. My favourite bar in Ashton Lane is Vodka Wodka. There is a massive selection of cheap cocktails. With a beer garden located at the back, it is perfect for sunny days.

Metropolitan

Located in the Merchant City, this bar is one of Glasgow most stylish places to drink. It's big inside so it's really easy to find a table which is good. The extensive list of cocktails means you wont run out of choice. This is the perfect location for a girls night or date night.

Missoula

You are guaranteed to have a good night in this lively bar. With lively music playing all night and an 80s bar just up the stairs, it is perfect for girls night out. Missoula does an extensive range of bar food, from burgers and pizzas to quirky mains as well as a fabulous drinks list.

The Social

Located in Royal Exchange Square, this is the perfect location for a night out. The Social is right next two nightclubs so it is great for pre drinks. The food is great for a lunch location. The cocktail list is also great. My favourite is the Strawberry Daiquiri

Moskito

Moskito is a fun friendly bar located on Bath Street in Glasgow. Inside, its so spacious and lots of tables available. There's nothing worse than going into a bar and its cramped with no tables. If you go here, you need to try the food. The burgers are amazing. The cocktail list is also great with losts of choice at reasonable prices.

Thanks for reading guys, I hope you found this useful.

Soft Hair

Hey guys!

There's nothing worse than just washing your hair, spending ages drying it then realising that it still feels dry and straw like!

So I've hunted for the best products to leave your hair feeling soft and luxurious.

OGX Renewing Moroccan Argan Oil Penetrating Oil

I tired this last year and it is honestly the best product that I've used in my hair. Put a small drop in your hands and rub the oil into wet hair before drying it. It leaves your hair feeling so soft and unlike some other hair oils, this doesn't leave any grease in your hair. The bottle lasts for ages so it is well worth the money too.

Boots: £7.35

Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Reconstructor Conditioner

This is great for helping split ends. You just seen a small amount and rub it into the ends of your hair and leave it for 3 minutes. Your hair will be soft for days after using this. Definitely does what it says on the bottle.

Boots: £4.99

L'Oreal Elvive Extraordinary Oils Nourishing Conditioner

This conditioner works so good. When my hair is wet, it is usually a nightmare trying to get the tangles out. After I used this, it was so easy to brush my hair. The thick conditioner gives a rich lather without leaving the hair feeling greasy. You could also try the shampoo to go with this conditioner for extra soft hair.

Boots: £2.89

TRESemme Split Remedy Leave-In Treatment

This is great because it leaves my hair visibly soft and it also protects it against heat which is great for me because I straighten my hair everyday. I could really see a difference in the ends of my hair after using this. this treatment is part of a shampoo and conditioner range which I haven't tried but I definitely need to try it after using this treatment.

Boots: £5.75

Hope this post has been helpful. Until next time!

Spring Style: Jackets

Hey everyone!
Welcome back to my blog. I haven’t done a post in a few weeks so I thought I would add a little fashion post since my other posts have been on beauty and skincare.

Okay, so I think we can all agree that it’s been a long hard winter. But you’ll all be glad to know that the clocks go forward on Sunday and its officially the start of British Summertime.

I know what you all are thinking. Summertime? It’s still a bit chilly out there. It’s not easy to predict the weather. One minute its pouring with rain and the next minute the sun is shining. So I have hunted for the best jackets which will be perfect for the Spring weather.

The Leather Waterfall Jacket

I LOVE my leather look waterfall jacket with suede trim. It is the perfect lightweight jacket. It gives such a flattering fit. This jacket is looks great for casual day to day wear with a pair of jeans and boots. It can also be dressed up for a night out with a skirt and heels.

New look: 29.99

Denim Jacket

No wardrobe is complete without a denim jacket. This can pretty much be flung on with anything (double denim can be risky but I’m sure you’ll be able to pull it off). It is perfect for the spring weather. Team it up with some black skinny jeans and a tee for the perfect edgy look.

New Look: £22.99

Bomber jacket

The bomber jacket gives an effortless quirky edge to your look. They come in so many different styles from metallic, sparkly, classic and printed. Combine the jacket with jeans and trainers for a fashionable casual look. You could even team it up with a dress and some heels for a night in town.

New Look: £24.99

Blazer

I love my Miss Selfridge Blazer. Its so versatile and can be worn with anything! I've wore this on so many nights out but it can also be worn with a casual outfit for the prefect spring look.

Miss Selfridge: £39

Suede Biker Jacket

Suede biker jackets are so in for spring. They come in different colours so I've picked out a few which are fabulous for your spring closet.

Soap and Glory - The Whole She-Bang

Hey guys! Welcome back to my blog. So I’ve done a few makeup posts so I thought I’d do my next post on skin care.

One of my favourite skincare brands is Soap and Glory. I was instantly attracted to the Soap and Glory products through the pretty packaging.  It smells amazing and it leaves my skin feeling so soft and fresh. I am addicted to trying new products from the range! Although some of the products can be a bit pricey, Boots usually has an offer on so I would suggest you get down to Boots ASAP girls!

Since I love Soap and Glory, I was delighted when I got ‘The Whole She-Bang’ hamper. It was like Soap and Glory heaven!

Inside this fab hamper is 9 amazing products

·         HAND FOOD Hand Cream

·         THE SCRUB OF YOUR LIFE Body Scrub

·         HEEL GENIUS Foot Cream

·         THE RIGHTEOUS BUTTER Instant Sunkissed Tint Body Lotion

·         PEAHCES &CLEAN Deep Purifying Cleanser

·         CLEAN ON ME Body Wash

·         SEXY MOTHER PUCKER Lip Gloss

·         THICK & FAST High Definition Mascara

·         THE RIGHTEOUS BUTTER Body Butter

HAND FOOD Hand Cream

My hands go dry very easily. If I forget to moisture a few times a week, my knuckles will end up dry and sore. This hand cream is perfect. When applying some other hand creams like Neutrogena and Nivea, they will sometime sting my dry skin but this Soap and Glory Hand Food works a treat. I sometimes feel other hand creams are greasy and take ages to soak into your hands but this ‘Hand Food’ dry’s so fast and can make my hands go from dry and chapped to smooth and soft in just a few days.

THE SCRUB OF YOUR LIFE Body Scrub

This scrub has gentle exfoliating beads that gets those annoying rough patches on your elbows and knees away and leaves the skin smooth and silky. Like some exfoliators, they can leave your skin red and agitated. This product smells amazing too!

HEEL GENIUS Foot Cream

We all get those annoying hard bits of skin on our feet that won’t go away. Well Heel Genius is the perfect solution. Applying this to your heels leaves them feeling smooth and nourished. It works even better of you use the ‘Soap and Glory Utterly Fantastic Foot Buffer’ to get rid of that hard skin.

THE RIGHTEOUS BUTTER Instant Sunkissed Tint Body Lotion

I wasn’t sure about this because I thought it would leave my skin looking streaky. However, this is good to use if, like me, are very pale and like a shimmering glow to your skin. It’s very natural looking and it’s so easy to wash off.

PEAHCES & CLEAN Deep Purifying Cleanser

This is one of my favourite Soap and Glory products. I’m always looking for the perfect product to take my makeup off with. This works a treat to remove all foundation after a long day. Just a few squirts onto a cotton wool pad and a gentle wipe over the face and your skin is left feeling clean and fresh. The smell is so refreshing too!

CLEAN ON ME Body Wash

Love this body wash! The pump dispenser is great for when you’re showering. Just a few pumps on your sponge is enough and the bottle lasts for ages. The product is so foamy and smells amazing.

SEXY MOTHER PUCKER Lip Gloss

I love the colour of this lip gloss. It gives the lips a nice shine with a natural pink colour. Once you put this on, it gives the lips a tingly feeling which goes away within a couple of minutes. It makes my lips look fuller too.

THICK & FAST High Definition Mascara

I don’t normally wear mascara but when I got this in the hamper I thought I’d give it a try. The application brush is very thick. The mascara didn’t go on too thick or clumpy and made my lashes look very long. Would definitely recommend for all you lash lovers.

THE RIGHTEOUS BUTTER Body Butter

LOVE this. It is definitely a must have Soap and Glory product. After applying my skin feels instantly smoother and it dries in so fast which saves you waiting for it to dry before getting dressed! The tub is massive and it lasts so long. If you haven’t tried this, I seriously recommend you get down to Boots girls!

Once all the products are finished, the zip up vanity case is perfect for storing all your make up and skin care products in!

Hope you enjoyed reading guys!

Flawless Face Makeup Brushes

Hi everyone!

I’d say having the right makeup brush is one of the most important things in makeup application. For a flawless look you have to choose the right brushes. The wrong brushes can sometimes make your makeup streaky. Some makeup brushes can be expensive so I’ve picked out my favourite for affordable prices!

Real Techniques Foundation Brush

Before I bought this, I used to use a cheap £1 foundation brush from Primark. So I decided to treat myself to a better one for applying my foundation. This is a great brush. The angled shape of it allows me to get into areas under my eyes and around my nose and doesn’t leave my foundation streaky. This brush has lasted me ages. With regular washes, it’s still good as new.
Boots: £9.99

Real Techniques Concealer Brush

This is the perfect brush for you girls who suffer from blemishes and dark circles around the eyes. The sharp angle makes it easy to cover those red marks we all hate!
Boots: £7.99

B. Powder Brush

This large super soft brush is perfect for creating a flawless base. The size is perfect for applying loose or pressed powder to set my foundation. The shape if great for targeting the T-zone (where I feel like I need more powder). This is a great brush if you’re on a budget.
Superdrug: £6.99 (was £9.99)

Real Techniques Blush Brush

I’ve tried so many blush brushes in the past but this one has to be my favourite. It’s so soft and applies my blusher beautifully. The shape of the brush is not only perfect for applying blush but it also works great for bronzer and highlighter. Although it is larger than other blush brushes I have used in the past for my blush, it allows the blush to go on evenly to the apples of the cheeks giving a flawless natural look. It even keeps its shape and softness after washing (watch out for my post on the best way to wash your makeup brushes).
Boots: £9.99

B. Contour Brush

This is perfect for adding a bit of contour to your face. It’s so soft and the angle of the bristles allows precise application when adding a bit of colour to your cheekbones.
Superdrug: £5.99 (was £8.99)

Look Good Feel Better Complexion Sponge

OK I know this isn’t a brush but it’s one of my favourite tools to apply my foundation. I used to use the Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge but I felt like it went hard and didn’t expand much when damp. The shape of this sponge is perfect for concealing dark areas and doesn’t leave any streaks.
Boots: £7.49

I hope you enjoyed reading this. See you all soon for my next post!
